Rick Buist is a past director of the board of green roof for healthy cities, and is a keynote speaker at green roof conferences. He is also a qualified horticulturalist and green roof expert, with over 10 years of experience. He is a specifications writer, and systems designer.

   Gavin is a green roof professional having    trained at Fanshawe College in Landscape    Design and Management. He has a broad
   range of experience in institutional and    commercial projects including18 York Street,    The Royal Victoria Hospital and South Lake
   Regional Hospital.

   Alex has joined us from Green Roofs for    Healthy Cities, where he gained considerable    industry experience. He is responsible for    communications, finance and customer    service.

Robert is the Associate Director of the Centre for Landscape Research where he is head of special projects. Rob’s efforts on behalf of the CLR focus on bringing the University’s expertise together with Community, Industry and government research Interests. He is also an associate of the Cities Centre at the University of Toronto and is cross-appointed with the Department of Geography at the University of Toronto. He is a full member of the OALA and a Fellow of the CSLA.

Scot is the principal of Wytech Building Envelope Solutions Inc. Scott has 25 years of experience in sustainable and durable solutions relating to the complete building envelope. He was the Ontario Chapter Director for Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. Scott collaborated in an advisory role with the City of Toronto’s Green Building Standard. He is also Past President of both the Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC) and the Sealant and Waterproofing Association.
